easycharter’s Aircraft of the Month for July 2021 is the Gulfstream G700!
The Gulfstream G700 is one of the fastest business jets in the world. Powered by two powerful Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, and equipped with the award-winning Symmetry Flight Deck, the G700’s performance profile is tough to beat. Gulfstream’s new flagship also delivers the most spacious, innovative, and flexible cabin in the industry.
Derived from its predecessor, the G650, the G700 was unveiled on the eve of the NBAA Convention and Exhibition in October 2019. It took its maiden flight on April 15 earlier this year. The G700 is expected to enter into service in 2022.
The G700’s interior design…
The G700 delivers the most spacious cabin in the industry (17.35 m long, 2.49 m wide, with a standup height of 1.91 m), with up to five living spaces. The aircraft’s cabin, with multiple interior configurations, can seat up to 19 passengers, and sleep up to 13. The cabin features twenty large panoramic oval windows to allow maximum natural light entry. Handcrafted seats are ideally positioned beside the iconic windows near tactile cabin controls. Ultra-low cabin altitude, fresh air circulation, and soundproofing promote maximum passenger comfort and well-being. Passengers can also enjoy reliable high-speed Jet ConneX Ka-band Wi-Fi onboard at no additional charge.
The G700’s performance profile…
Propulsion is provided by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 turbofans, providing 81.2 kN of force. The G700 delivers a non-stop intercontinental range of 7’500 nm (equivalent to 13’890 km). It can soar at a maximum altitude of 15’545 m. It can cruise at a maximum speed of 1’142 km/hr (equivalent to 0.925 Mach).
The G700’s updated avionics…
The G700 is equipped with the award-winning Symmetry Flight Deck. To reduce pilot workload and aircraft start-up time, the avionics suite features intuitive touch screens paired with Phase-of-FlightTM intelligence.
