Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) returned this year, as EBACE 2021 Connect. Event organizers had canceled last year’s EBACE, scheduled in May 2020, due to concerns and uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s virtual, yet successful event, was characterized by forward-looking energy and excitement.
Hosted by The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), EBACE typically brings together all manners of people involved in every aspect of business aviation. Business aviation manufacturers, corporate aviation department personnel, and industry leaders all gathered, virtually, for the much-anticipated annual event.
EBACE 2021 Program Summary
EBACE 2021 Connect took place, virtually, between May 18 and May 20, 2021.
Monday, May 17, or “Press Day” featured big announcements directly from the industry. Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ), Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH), Skyconseil, Aviation Performance Solutions (APS), Milano Prime and Sirio, and Volocopter held press conferences on “Press Day”.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each featured three different educational sessions on topics related to the business aviation market. Topics included recovery from the pandemic, trends in sustainable materials and design, safety for new cutting-edge aircraft, and more.
