The easy Report: NBAA-BACE Returns to Vegas in 2021
The National Business Aviation Association- Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) returned to its live format this year. This year’s show took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport October 12-14. The NBAA-BACE returns to Orlando, Florida, October 18-20, next year.
The easy Report: Business Aviation Leaders Pledge Net-Zero CO2 Emissions by 2050
As the business aviation industry continues to display a growing interest in sustainability, nearly a hundred exhibitors signed a Green Pledge to reduce their carbon footprint at the show. On the eve of the show, executives with several business aviation organizations stood united, renewing the Business Aviation Commitment on Climate Change, with the aim of reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The business aviation industry is to continue its goal of increasing fuel efficiency by 2 percent per year between 2020 and 2030.
The easy Report: The HondaJet 2600: Honda Aircraft’s New Concept Twinjet Unveiled
On October 12, Honda Aircraft Company president and CEO Michimasa Fujino introduced the concept for the HondaJet 2600 before a large crowd at the NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas. Earlier in May, Honda Aircraft Company unveiled its new upgraded aircraft, the “HondaJet Elite S” at its first virtual product launch event themed “Innovation Continues Elite S”.
The easy Report: Textron Introduces Gen2 Variants of its Citation M2 and XLS Jets at the 2021 NBAA-BACE
At the 2021 NBAA-BACE, Textron Aviation pitched in Gen2 upgrades for its Citation XLS and M2 jets. The Citation M2 Gen2 and Citation XLS Gen2 will feature technology and interior upgrades.
The easy Report: Inmarsat Celebrates the 1,000th Installation and Activation of its Jet ConneX at the NBAA-BACE
Inmarsat announced the 1,000th installation and activation of its Jet ConneX inflight connectivity solution at the NBAA-BACE this year. This milestone coincides with the fifth anniversary of Jet ConneX, which entered commercial service in November 2016. Since then, Jet Connex has quickly developed into the business aviation industry’s gold standard for inflight connectivity service, preferred by major business jet manufacturers.
The easy Report: Gulfstream Unveils Two All-New Business Jets: The G800 and G400
On October 4, Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. unveiled two all-new business jets recently added to its family of ultramodern high-tech aircraft in Savannah, Georgia: The G800 and the G400. The company unveiled the two new aircraft before a live audience at its Savannah Headquarters. Gulfstream simultaneously broadcasted the event via its website and social media platforms Facebook and YouTube. The global virtual broadcast featured a virtual tour of the G400 and a live reveal of the very first G800.

In a press release on October 12, Gulfstream announced a series of new avionics and cabin upgrades to its G280 business jet. Gulfstream announced the new G280 upgrade package following the unveiling of their newest business jets, the G400 and G800, during a launch ceremony at their headquarters in Savannah. The easy Report: Bombardier Announces Firm Order for 20 Challenger 3500 Business Jets
In a press release on September 30, Bombardier announced a firm order for 20 Challenger 3500 business jets to an undisclosed customer, representing a value of USD 534’000’000. The Challenger 3500, unveiled on September 14, is a super-midsize business jet that can seat up to 10 passengers. It features several cockpit and cabin electronics advancements that first debuted on Bombardier’s Global 7500. Read more about the Challenger 3500 here!
The easy Report: NetJets Orders 100 more Phenom 300s from Embraer
NetJets, the largest fractional-ownership fleet in the world, has signed a deal with Embraer for 100 Phenom 300s, the best-selling light jet for more than nine years. The deal totals more than USD 1’200’000’000 and includes a comprehensive services agreement. NetJets will begin taking delivery of the jets in the second quarter of 2023. NetJets previously signed a deal with Embraer for 50 Phenom 300 executive jets in 2010.

In a press release on October 5, Honeywell unveiled Anthem, the aviation industry’s first cloud-connected cockpit system. Honeywell Anthem is powered by a flexible software platform that can be virtually customized for each type of aircraft.
